Trust Fund Committee Reviews Investment Performance for January-March 2026 and Conducts Other Trust Fund Business

WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 24, 2026)– The Trust Fund Committee of the Trust Fund for the People of the Federated States of Micronesia (the Trust Fund) conducted its Fiscal Year 2026 third quarter meeting on June 18 in Washington DC and San Francisco by videoconference. The Committee reviewed the Trust Fund’s investment performance for the quarter ending March 31 with updates to the time of the meeting and conducted other Trust Fund business.

For the quarter ending March 31, the Trust Fund had a net asset value of $1,968,137,781 and an investment return of 1.0%, net of fees, fiscal year-to-date (October 1-March 31; benchmark 0.5%). For May, the most recent complete month reported, the Trust Fund had a net asset value of $2,158,230,257 and gained 10.8%, net of fees, for the October-May period, (benchmark 10.9%). Since the inception of the Trust Fund in 2004, the Trust Fund has had an average annual rate of return of 6.8%, net of fees (benchmark 7.2%). The Trust Fund’s Investment Advisor, Cambridge Associates, also reviewed the market environment, investment outlook, portfolio review and portfolio transition.

The Committee also approved the Investment Policy Statement that sets the asset allocation for the coming year with no major changes. The Committee also approved a 2-year service agreement with Baker Tilly to conduct the fiscal year 2026 and fiscal year 2027 annual audit and investment performance assessment.

The next quarterly Committee meeting will take place in September 2026.
